__TOC__

The Darkwell is the shared reserve system for all four playable species in Descendants of Darkness. It allows players to safely deposit, withdraw, and transfer their primary resource.

The Darkwell automatically recognises the species of the player using it and displays the appropriate resource:

* Vampires & Lycans — Blood
* Witches & Hunters — Energy

The appearance of the Darkwell also changes to match the species currently using it, including its water, sword, colours, and visual effects.

----

Depositing Blood or Energy
Players can deposit Blood or Energy from their current in-world supply into their Darkwell Reserves.

When a resource is deposited:

* The selected amount is deducted from the player's current in-world Blood or Energy.
* The same amount is added to the player's Darkwell Reserves.
* The Darkwell menu displays both the amount of Blood or Energy the player is currently carrying and the amount stored in their reserves.

----

Withdrawing Blood or Energy
Players can withdraw Blood or Energy from their Darkwell Reserves whenever needed.

When a resource is withdrawn:

* The selected amount is removed from the player's Darkwell Reserves.
* The same amount is added to the player's current in-world Blood or Energy supply.

----

Transferring Blood or Energy
The Darkwell can also be used to transfer resources to another player.

To transfer Blood or Energy:

# Select the Transfer option from the Darkwell.
# Enter the receiving player's avatar key.
# Enter the amount to transfer.
# Follow the Darkwell's payment and confirmation instructions.

Blood and Energy can be transferred between different species at a 1:1 conversion rate.

For example:

* Blood transferred from a Vampire or Lycan to a Witch or Hunter is received as Energy.
* Energy transferred from a Witch or Hunter to a Vampire or Lycan is received as Blood.

The transferred resource is added directly to the receiving player's Darkwell Reserves and can be withdrawn when needed.

----

Changing Species
Changing species does not remove, wipe, or reset anything stored in a player's Darkwell Reserves.

Stored reserves remain available and automatically adapt to the resource used by the player's current species.

Species
Resource
Vampire
Blood
Lycan
Blood
Witch
Energy
Hunter
Energy

----

Darkwell Reserves
Darkwell Reserves replace the previous Banked Blood and Bloodbank terminology used by the old Blood Well system.

The Darkwell uses one shared reserve system for every species while displaying the appropriate resource for each player.

Any resources previously stored through the old Blood Well were automatically carried over into the player's Darkwell Reserves.

----

Cost
Using the Darkwell costs L$5 per use.

The fee applies when:

* Depositing Blood or Energy
* Withdrawing Blood or Energy
* Transferring Blood or Energy

Active Patreon supporters have the Darkwell fee waived.

----

Language Support
The Darkwell follows the language selected through the player's HUD settings.

Supported player-facing text is automatically displayed in the selected language, including:

* Menus
* Instructions
* Payment messages
* Warnings
* Other Darkwell system messages

----

Summary
The Darkwell replaces the former Blood Well and expands the reserve system to support every playable species.

Species
Resource
Vampire
Blood
Lycan
Blood
Witch
Energy
Hunter
Energy

The Darkwell allows all four species to deposit, withdraw, transfer, and preserve their resources through one shared reserve system.
The Overseer Guide
The Overseer is a monitoring device designed to help players keep watch over themselves or another player.

It can alert you when the monitored player is attacked, is nearing starvation, or may need assistance while offline. The Overseer also provides access to recent attack, kill, and death records and can even be used to remotely donate blood to an eligible offline player.

When configured with a Discord Webhook, alerts can also be sent directly to a selected Discord channel.
Send attack and starvation warnings to Discord through a webhook

How Alerts Work
The server checks for attacks every 15 minutes on the hour.

If an attack has occurred, the Overseer will send an alert during the next available 15-minute check.

Alerts may include:

* Attack notifications
* Near starvation warnings
* Discord webhook notifications, if a webhook has been configured

<blockquote>
Note: Alerts are not necessarily instant. Attack activity is checked in 15-minute intervals.
</blockquote>

What the Overseer Can Do
With the Overseer, you can:

* Monitor yourself or another player
* Receive attack alerts
* View attack logs for up to 3 days
* View death logs
* View kill logs
* Remotely donate blood to an offline player
* Configure Discord webhook alerts
* Remove the currently tracked player
* Add a new player to monitor

Getting Started
How to Use the Overseer
# Rez the Overseer.
# Touch the Overseer to open its menu.
# Add yourself, or have the player you want to monitor touch the Overseer.
# Both players must be alive when a player is being added.
# The tracked player may be resting, but they cannot be dead.

Health Indicator
The Overseer's hover text changes color depending on the tracked player's current condition.

Hover Text Color
Status
Green
Healthy
Yellow
Warning
Red
Danger

<blockquote>
Important: If the tracked player is dead, the normal menu options will not be available. The only available option will be to Remove Player.
</blockquote>

Overseer Menu Options
The Overseer menu contains the following options:

# Donate Blood
# View Attack Logs
# View Kill Logs
# View Death Logs
# Turn Off Attack Alert
# Turn Off Near Starvation Alert
# Set Starvation Alert
# Remove Player from Overseer
# Add Discord Webhook

Menu Guide
1. Donate Blood
The Donate Blood option allows you to remotely feed the tracked player while they are offline.

To donate blood:

* The tracked player must have been offline for at least 4 hours.
* You must accept the debit permissions popup.
* The cost is L$50 per 0.500 liters.
* Donations are made in 0.500 liter increments.

This feature can be useful when a player is unable to log in and feed themselves.

<blockquote>
Important: Debit permissions allow the Overseer to charge your Second Life account for blood donations.
</blockquote>

2. View Attack Logs
The View Attack Logs option allows you to review attacks made against the tracked player.

Attack logs are available for:

* Today
* Yesterday
* The day before yesterday

Log Paging System
Attack logs, kill logs, and death logs all use the Overseer's paging system.

Each page can display up to 4 logs.

The Overseer can print up to 4 pages at a time. Once those pages have been displayed, you may be asked if you want to continue viewing older records.

Select More to display additional pages.

Think of the log system like a book:

* The newest logs are found on the highest page numbers.
* When logs are printed in Nearby Chat, the newest entries appear first.
* Older entries continue below as additional pages are displayed.

3. View Kill Logs
The View Kill Logs option displays recorded kills made by the tracked player.

Kill logs may include:

* Date and time
* Victim name
The transformation is rare, and the curse only receives one chance during that period.

If the human does not transform when first scanned or struck, they cannot become an Abomination for the next 30 days, regardless of how many additional times they are scanned or attacked.

After the 30-day period has passed, the human may once again become eligible for the curse.

Rewards and tracking
Abominations provide additional rewards and tracking compared with ordinary humans.

* Abominations have larger blood stores than ordinary humans.
* The Essence reward varies by Abomination.
* The Essence reward is claimed by the player who delivers the killing blow.
* An Abomination kill also counts toward the player's human kills.
* Qualifying combat against an Abomination can restore Hunter Energy.
Cleansing an Abomination
A fallen Abomination can be cleansed using a Human Revival Potion.

When a Human Revival Potion is used on a fallen Abomination:

* The Abomination curse is removed.
* The Abomination rises again as an ordinary human.
* The restored human is protected from becoming an Abomination again for 30 days.

Witch Resurrection cannot revive an Abomination.
A Human Revival Potion must be used to cleanse the curse and return a fallen Abomination to normal human status.

The Dread Champion
The Dread Champion is a temporary power connected to the Abomination hunt.

Each day, the first player to slay an Abomination becomes the Dread Champion.

Only one Dread Champion can exist at a time across all species.

Dread Champion powers
While holding the Dread Champion title, the player receives the following benefits:

* Reach — Attacks strike at least 5 metres away.
* Every Direction — Attacks reach all around the player instead of only striking targets in front.
* Vigor — Maximum Blood or Energy is increased by +2.

The Vigor bonus increases the player's maximum Blood or Energy capacity. It does not automatically refill the player's resource.

Dread Champion powers remain active until midnight SLT unless the Champion loses them before then.

Stealing the Dread Champion
The Dread Champion title can be stolen through PvP.

If another player kills the current Dread Champion:

* The killer becomes the new Dread Champion.
* The Dread Champion powers transfer to the killer.
* The original midnight SLT expiration remains unchanged.

The expiration time does not reset when the title changes hands.

Any player's kill can steal the title, including a kill made by an ally.

Losing the Dread Champion
The Dread Champion can be lost in several ways:

Cause
Result
Dies by any other means
The Dread Champion power is lost for the remainder of the day.
The Dread Champion power expires and a new Champion may rise the following day.

If the Dread Champion dies from anything other than another player's kill, the dread scatters.

The transformation is rare, and the curse receives only one chance during that period.

If the human does not transform when first scanned or struck, they cannot become an Abomination for the next 30 days, regardless of how many additional times they are scanned or attacked.

After the 30-day period has passed, the human may once again become eligible for the curse.
Witch Resurrection cannot revive an Abomination.

Dread Champion powers remain active until midnight SLT unless the Champion loses them before then.

Stealing the Dread Champion
The Dread Champion title can be stolen through PvP.

* The killer becomes the new Dread Champion.
* The Dread Champion powers transfer to the killer.
* The original midnight SLT expiration remains unchanged.
Any living human has the potential to become an Abomination.
The curse may awaken the first time an eligible human is scanned or struck.
Once awakened, the title may pass between players through PvP kills, but killing another Abomination does not create a second Champion.

There can never be more than one Dread Champion at a time.

= Identifying the Dread Champion
The HUD provides notifications when a player:

Becomes the Dread Champion

Steals the Dread Champion title

Loses the Dread Champion title

Scanning another player can reveal whether that player is currently the Dread Champion and when their Champion status expires.

Abomination kill announcements show when a new Dread Champion awakens, while player death announcements may show when the title has been stolen.

Leaderboards and ledger
The login-required Abomination Kills page includes the current Abomination list and Abomination kill leaderboard.

Abomination kills are permanently recorded and also contribute toward the player's human kill totals.

Essence is a personal game resource used by several systems in Descendants of Darkness. A player's current amount appears in their private Self Scan.

__TOC__

Earning Essence
Each Abomination carries its own Essence reward. The player who lands the killing blow claims that reward.

Region Essence Rewards
Players can earn Essence by spending time within eligible Descendants of Darkness regions through the Region Essence Rewards system.

To receive Region Essence Rewards, the player's Second Life account must be properly verified within the official Descendants of Darkness Discord.

Discord Verification Requirement
Discord verification is required to continue earning Region Essence Rewards.

If a player's Discord account is not verified:

Region Essence progression will be paused.

Any progress already earned during that day will remain intact.

No additional Region Essence will be granted until Discord verification has been completed.

Verification does not erase progress that has already been earned.

How to Verify
To complete Discord verification:

Join the official Descendants of Darkness Discord:

https://discord.descendantsofdarkness.com/

After joining, the DoD bot should contact you by direct message and guide you through the verification and role setup process.

If the bot does not contact you, locate the role-choice-setup channel and complete the setup process there.

After Verification
Once Discord verification has been successfully completed:

There is no need to contact Staff.

There is no need to reset or replace your HUD.

There is no need to restart your Region Essence progress.

Previously earned progress remains intact.

Region Essence Rewards will automatically resume once the system detects your verification during its next scheduled checks.

Players may then continue earning Region Essence while spending time within eligible DoD regions.

Spending Essence
Essence has several documented uses:

* Bounties are funded with Essence.
* The Reawakening Shrine takes two Essence from the player performing a revival.

Other features may use Essence when stated by their current in-world device or game interface.

Protecting stored Essence
Essence held by a player is otherwise lost when that player dies. The Essence Chest can store Essence outside the player's carried balance and allows deposits, withdrawals, access control, and transaction history.

Website ranking
The login-required Essence On Hand leaderboard ranks current carried reserves.

The Darkwell is the shared reserve system for all four playable species in Descendants of Darkness. It allows players to safely deposit, withdraw, and transfer their primary resource.

The Darkwell automatically recognises the species of the player using it and displays the appropriate resource:

Vampires & Lycans — Blood

Witches & Hunters — Energy

The appearance of the Darkwell also changes to match the species currently using it, including its water, sword, colours, and visual effects.

Depositing Blood or Energy
Players can deposit Blood or Energy from their current in-world supply into their Darkwell Reserves.

When a resource is deposited:

The selected amount is deducted from the player's current in-world Blood or Energy.

The same amount is added to the player's Darkwell Reserves.

The Darkwell menu displays both the amount of Blood or Energy the player is currently carrying and the amount stored in their reserves.

Withdrawing Blood or Energy
Players can withdraw Blood or Energy from their Darkwell Reserves when needed.

When a resource is withdrawn:

The selected amount is removed from the player's Darkwell Reserves.

The same amount is added to the player's current in-world Blood or Energy supply.

Transferring Blood or Energy
The Darkwell can also be used to transfer resources to another player.

To transfer Blood or Energy:

Select the transfer option from the Darkwell.

Enter the receiving player's avatar key.

Enter the amount to transfer.

Follow the Darkwell's payment and confirmation instructions.

Blood and Energy can be transferred between different species at a 1:1 conversion rate.

For example:

Blood transferred from a Vampire or Lycan to a Witch or Hunter is received as Energy.

Energy transferred from a Witch or Hunter to a Vampire or Lycan is received as Blood.

The transferred resource is added directly to the receiving player's Darkwell Reserves and can be withdrawn when needed.

Changing Species
Changing species does not remove, wipe, or reset anything stored in a player's Darkwell Reserves.

Stored reserves remain available and automatically adapt to the resource used by the player's current species.

Vampire / Lycan — Blood

Witch / Hunter — Energy

Darkwell Reserves
Darkwell Reserves replace the previous Banked Blood and Bloodbank terminology used by the old Blood Well system.

The Darkwell uses one shared reserve system for every species while displaying the appropriate resource for each player.

Any resources previously stored through the old Blood Well were automatically carried over into the player's Darkwell Reserves.

Cost
Using the Darkwell costs L$5 per use.

The fee applies when:

Depositing Blood or Energy

Withdrawing Blood or Energy

Transferring Blood or Energy

Active Patreon supporters have the Darkwell fee waived.

Language Support
The Darkwell follows the language selected through the player's HUD settings.

Supported player-facing text is automatically displayed in the selected language, including:

Menus

Instructions

Payment messages

Warnings

Other Darkwell system messages

Summary
Opting for 14 days without aging incurs a fee of 250 Lindens, while choosing aging costs 500 Lindens. Aging occurs gradually, with one night passing for every two days, ensuring a balanced progression. The Reawakening Shrine is an animated device that revives a player. To operate the Reawakening Shrine, two players are required. The player who needs to be revived sits on the device first, followed by the player who will perform the revival. Two essences will be taken from the reviving player. The revived player will be restored with 1.000 liters of blood.

Elixirs are consumable items used to restore or revive your avatar in Descendants of Darkness. These interact with the human feeding system, not other players.

Types of Elixirs
; Revival Elixir (Red)
: Used to fully revive your avatar after death.

; Breath of Vitality Elixir (Teal)
: Used to restore humans that have been drained by feeding (when their blood has been taken).

Cost
Each elixir costs 250 Linden Dollars (L$).

They can be purchased at the Descendants of Darkness main land.

How to Use
# Purchase the elixir:
#* Right-click the elixir vendor
#* Select Pay and enter L$250
# Take the item:
#* Right-click the elixir
#* Select Take to move it into your inventory
# Use the elixir:
#* Attach it to your avatar
#* Click the elixir in your hand
#* Select Open Bottle
#* Confirm by selecting Yes

Once consumed, your avatar will be restored to full health.

Using Elixirs on Humans
Elixirs can also be used on humans.

* Once purchased, you can send the elixir to a human
* The human must attach the item
* They then use it the same way by opening and drinking the elixir

This allows you to restore humans that have been killed by feeding.

Essence Chest
The Essence Chest serves as a secure repository for your essence. Upon your demise, your essence would otherwise be lost, making it advisable to store it within the chest to prevent any loss. With the Essence Chest, you have the capability to deposit and withdraw essence at will. Moreover, you retain control over who can access your stored essence, with options to limit access to yourself, a select group, or open it to everyone. Additionally, you can track all transactions made with your essence through the transaction history feature. This provides transparency regarding who has withdrawn essence from your Chest. Finally, you have the ability to customize the appearance of your Essence Chest by selecting from various texture colors, including Gold, Blue, and Black.

The Overseer Guide
The Overseer is a monitoring device that allows you to track yourself or another player. It can alert you when the monitored player is attacked, nearing starvation, or needs help while offline.

If the tracked player is attacked, the Overseer will send a notification in Nearby Chat and, if configured, to Discord through a webhook.
----

How Alerts Work
The server checks for attacks every 15 minutes on the hour. If an attack has occurred, the Overseer will send an alert within that 15-minute window.

Alerts may include:

* Attack notifications
* Near starvation warnings
* Discord webhook notifications, if added

----

What the Overseer Can Do
With the Overseer, you can:

* Monitor yourself or another player
* Receive attack alerts
* View attack logs for up to 3 days
* View death logs
* View kill logs
* Remotely donate blood to an offline player
* Add Discord webhook alerts
* Remove the tracked player and add a new one

----

How to Use the Overseer
# Rez the Overseer.
# Touch the Overseer to open the menu.
# Add yourself, or have the player you want to monitor touch it.
# Both players must be alive when adding a player.
# The tracked player may be resting, but they cannot be dead.

The Overseer hover text will change color depending on the tracked player’s health:
1. Donate Blood
The Donate Blood option allows you to remotely feed the tracked player.

To donate blood:

* The tracked player must have been offline for at least 4 hours.
* You must accept the debit permissions popup.
* The cost is L$50 per 0.500 liters.
* Donations increase in 0.500 liter increments.

This is useful when a player cannot log in to feed themselves.<blockquote>Important: Debit permissions allow the Overseer to charge your account for the blood donation.</blockquote>
----

2. View Attack Logs
The View Attack Logs option lets you review attacks against the tracked player.

You can view logs for:

* Today
* Yesterday
* The day before yesterday

Log Paging System
Attack logs, kill logs, and death logs all use a paging system.

Each page can display up to 4 logs. The Overseer can print up to 4 pages at a time. Once those pages are printed, you may be asked if you want to view more.

If you click More, the Overseer will print older pages.

Think of the logs like a book:

* The newest logs are on the highest page numbers.
* When the logs print in Nearby Chat, the newest entries appear at the top.
* Older entries continue below as more pages are printed.
3. View Kill Logs
The View Kill Logs option shows every recorded time the tracked player has killed another player.

Kill logs may include:
5. Turn Off Attack Alert
This option turns off attack alerts for the tracked player.

When attack alerts are turned off:

* You will no longer receive Nearby Chat attack messages.
* Discord webhook attack alerts will also stop.

----

6. Turn Off Near Starvation Alert
This option turns off near starvation alerts.

When this is turned off, you will not receive a Nearby Chat message when the tracked player is close to dying from lack of feeding.
----

7. Set Starvation Alert
The Set Starvation Alert option allows you to choose when you want to be warned before the tracked player dies from lack of feeding.

You can choose to be alerted:

* 1 day before death
* 2 days before death
* 3 days before death

For example, if you select 1 day, you will receive a notification in Nearby Chat and Discord when the player is within one day of dying from starvation.

If the alert is set to 1 day and you receive the warning, the player will die at midnight if they are not fed.
----

8. Remove Player from Overseer
This option removes the currently tracked player from the Overseer.

After removing a player:

* You will no longer receive notifications about them.
* You may add a new player to the Overseer.

----

9. Add Discord Webhook
This option allows you to add a Discord Webhook URL to the Overseer.

Once added, the Overseer can send alerts to your chosen Discord channel when:

* The tracked player is attacked
* The tracked player is near death from starvation

<blockquote>Warning: Keep your Discord Webhook URL private. Anyone with the URL may be able to send messages to that Discord channel.</blockquote>
----

How to Add a Discord Webhook to the Overseer
Step 1: Create a Discord Webhook
# Open Discord.
# Go to the server where you want Overseer alerts to appear.
# Click the server name in the top left.
# Select Server Settings.
# Click Integrations in the sidebar.
# Under Webhooks, click Create Webhook.
# Choose the channel where alerts should be sent.
# Customize the webhook name and avatar if desired.
# Click Copy Webhook URL.

----

Step 2: Add the Webhook URL to the Overseer
# Touch the Overseer to open the menu.
# Select Add Discord Webhook.
# Paste the Discord Webhook URL.
# Confirm the change to save it.

----

Step 3: Test the Webhook
After adding the webhook, test it to make sure alerts are working.

You can test by:

* Simulating an attack on the tracked player
* Checking the selected Discord channel for the alert message

If the alert appears in Discord, the webhook is working correctly.

The Resting Nexus offers protection from blood loss for a specified duration, currently set at 14 days. You have the choice to age during this period or remain unchanged. Opting for 14 days without aging incurs a fee of 250 Lindens, while choosing aging costs 500 Lindens. Aging occurs gradually, with one night passing for every two days, ensuring a balanced progression. This duration was chosen to maintain fairness, preventing abuse by creating alternate accounts solely for aging. The Resting Nexus provides security during periods of absence from the computer, yet players remain vulnerable to attacks.
The Blood Well has multiple uses. You can deposit blood, withdraw blood, or transfer blood to another player. To use the Blood Well, it costs 5 Lindens to deposit, withdraw, or transfer.

If you deposit blood, it will add the amount of blood you deposited to the total amount you have deposited. It will also deduct that amount of blood from you in-world.

When you withdraw blood, the amount you withdraw will be added to your total blood in-world.

For transferring blood to another player, you will need to enter the key of the other player. Once you've clicked on the device to pay, the other player can access the blood by withdrawing it from the Blood Well.

* Attack notifications
* Near starvation warnings
* Discord webhook notifications, if added

----

What the Overseer Can Do
With the Overseer, you can:

* Monitor yourself or another player
* Receive attack alerts
* View attack logs for up to 3 days
* View death logs
* View kill logs
* Remotely donate blood to an offline player
* Add Discord webhook alerts

<blockquote>Note: If the tracked player is dead, the menu options will not be available. The only available option will be to remove the player.</blockquote>

* Today
* Yesterday
* The day before yesterday

----

Log Paging System
Attack logs, kill logs, and death logs all use a paging system.

Each page can display up to 4 logs. The Overseer can print up to 4 pages at a time. Once those pages are printed, you may be asked if you want to view more.

If you click More, the Overseer will print older pages.

Think of the logs like a book:

* The newest logs are on the highest page numbers.
* When the logs print in Nearby Chat, the newest entries appear at the top.
* Older entries continue below as more pages are printed.

----
3. View Kill Logs
The View Kill Logs option shows every recorded time the tracked player has killed another player.

Kill logs may include:

Death logs may include:

* 1 day before death
* 2 days before death
* 3 days before death

Step 3: Test the Webhook
After adding the webhook, test it to make sure alerts are working.

You can test by:

* Simulating an attack on the tracked player
* Checking the selected Discord channel for the alert message

Overseer
The Overseer is a device designed to monitor another player or yourself. If the monitored player is attacked, you will receive a notification in nearby chat and on Discord (if you've added a webhook). Alerts are sent within 15 minutes of the occurrence, as the server checks for attacks every fifteen minutes on the hour. If an attack has occurred, you will receive the alert.

You can review the tracked player's attack logs for up to three days, view their death logs (including the number of deaths and the cause), and access their kill logs. Additionally, you can remotely feed a player who has been offline for at least four hours at a cost of 100 lindens per liter. This feature is useful if a player is unable to log in to feed themselves.

To use the Overseer, rez it out and touch it. You can add yourself to the Overseer, or if you're monitoring another player, have them touch it as well. Both players must be alive, although the tracked player can be resting. The hover text will change color from green to yellow or red, depending on the tracked player's health.
The options for the Overseer are listed below:
9. Add Discord Webhook

Note: The options won't be available if the tracked player is dead. The only available option will be to remove the player.

1. Donate Blood

To donate blood, the player must have been offline for at least 4 hours. You will need to accept the debit permissions that pop up, which allow the Overseer to credit your account. The cost is 50 lindens per 0.500 liters, and the blood donation menu will allow you to increment the amount of donated blood in 0.500-liter increments.

2. View Attack Logs

The logs, including the death and kill logs, work on a paging system. You can see four attacks per page, with up to four pages. Once all four pages are printed, you'll be asked if you want to view more attacks. If you click 'more,' four older pages will print out, each with four attacks, and so on. As the printout occurs, think of it as a book where the most recent attacks are on the highest page numbers. When you print out the logs, the most recent attacks will appear at the top of the Nearby chat.

3. View Kill Logs

Viewing the kill logs will show you all the times the player has killed someone else, including the timestamp, location, and total kills. Below is an example of a kill log:

4. View Death Logs

The paging system is the same as described in the "View Attack Logs" section.

5. Turn Off Attack Alert

When you turn off the attack alert, you will no longer receive nearby chat messages when the player is attacked. This also includes messages sent via the Discord webhook.

6. Turn Off Near Starvation Alert

When you turn off the near starvation alert, you will not receive a nearby chat message when the player is close to dying from lack of feeding.

7. Set Starvation Alert

When you select this option, you can choose to be alerted 1, 2, or 3 days before the player is expected to die from lack of feeding. For example, if you select 1 day, you will receive a notification in nearby chat and on Discord when the player is within one day of dying due to starvation. If you have it set to one day and you get the alert, the player will die at midnight.

8. Remove Player from Overseer

When you remove the player from the Overseer, you will no longer receive notifications about them, and you can add a new player.

9. Add Discord Webhook

This option will allow you to enter a Discord Webhook URL to receive alerts via Discord. When the player is attacked or near death, a message will be sent to your designated Discord channel.

How to Add a Webhook to the Overseer
# Create a Discord Webhook:
#* Open Discord and navigate to the server where you want the notifications to be sent.
#* Click on the server name at the top left, then select Server Settings from the dropdown menu.
#* In the sidebar, click on Integrations.
#* Under Webhooks, click Create Webhook.
#* Choose the channel where you want the notifications to appear.
#* Customize the name and avatar of the webhook if desired.
#* Click Copy Webhook URL to save the URL to your clipboard.
# Add the Webhook URL to the Overseer:
#* Touch the Overseer to bring up the menu.
#* Select option 9 to add the webhook to the Overseer.
#* Paste the Webhook URL you copied earlier into this field.
#* Confirm the changes to save the webhook.
# Test the Webhook:
#* After adding the webhook, it’s a good idea to test it to ensure everything is working correctly.
#* You can either simulate an attack on the monitored player.
#* Check the designated Discord channel to see if the notification appears.

The Species Change Device allows you to change your species. If you're a vampire, you can switch to a lycan or witch, and vice versa. The cost to use the device is 2,500 Lindens. This price is set to discourage people from abusing the device and constantly changing species.
File:BreathOfVitality400x400.png|Breath of Vitality Elixir (Teal)
</gallery>

When viewing the attack logs, you can choose to see logs for today, yesterday, or the day before. Below is an example of a single attack log:

Viewing the death logs allows you to see how many times the player has died and the cause of death.
