In this example:

When several players are detected, they are listed in order of distance, with the nearest player shown first.

If no compatible HUD users are detected, the HUD will report:

Manual region scans have a short cooldown. If you try to scan again too quickly, the HUD will tell you how many seconds remain.

== Automatic Scan Settings ==

Press and hold the Scan Region Button for at least half a second to open its settings menu.

Automatic scanning runs quietly in the background approximately every 30 seconds. It does not print the full player list shown by a manual scan. Instead, it activates the HUD's scan effect when another active HUD is detected in the region.

The following settings are available:

The proximity-alert distance must be greater than 0 metres and cannot exceed 200 metres. The alert sound plays when an automatic scan detects at least one compatible HUD within the selected distance.

Your automatic scan, sound, and distance settings are saved by the HUD.

The Scan Region Button cannot be used when your character's current status prevents HUD actions, such as while dead, sleeping, dead from hunger, or banned.
