The Trial of Shadows is an ancient scroll used to challenge another player to a fight to the death.
How it works
Challenge: Use the scroll to select a fight duration and choose another player to challenge.
Acceptance: If the other player accepts, a countdown to the duel begins.
Combat zone: Both players must remain in the region where the fight starts.
Leaving the region: A player who leaves the region, logs out, or removes their HUD has 60 seconds to return. Failure to return in time results in being consumed by the darkness.
Victory: The fight continues until one player is defeated or the selected duration expires.
