In-World Devices
Resting Nexus

The Resting Nexus offers protection from blood loss for a specified duration, currently set at 14 days. You have the choice to age during this period or remain unchanged. Opting for 14 days without aging incurs a fee of 250 Lindens, while choosing aging costs 500 Lindens. Aging occurs gradually, with one night passing for every two days, ensuring a balanced progression. This duration was chosen to maintain fairness, preventing abuse by creating alternate accounts solely for aging. The Resting Nexus provides security during periods of absence from the computer, yet players remain vulnerable to attacks.
Blood Well

The Blood Well has multiple uses. You can deposit blood, withdraw blood, or transfer blood to another player. To use the Blood Well, it costs 5 Lindens to deposit, withdraw, or transfer.
If you deposit blood, it will add the amount of blood you deposited to the total amount you have deposited. It will also deduct that amount of blood from you in-world.
When you withdraw blood, the amount you withdraw will be added to your total blood in-world.
For transferring blood to another player, you will need to enter the key of the other player. Once you've clicked on the device to pay, the other player can access the blood by withdrawing it from the Blood Well.
Species Change

The Species Change Device allows you to change your species. If you're a vampire, you can switch to a lycan or witch, and vice versa. The cost to use the device is 2,500 Lindens. This price is set to discourage people from abusing the device and constantly changing species.
Reawakening Shrine

The Reawakening Shrine is an animated device that revives a player. To operate the Reawakening Shrine, two players are required. The player who needs to be revived sits on the device first, followed by the player who will perform the revival. Two essences will be taken from the reviving player. The revived player will be restored with 1.000 liters of blood.

Breath of Vitality Elixir
The Revival Elixir(red) is used to revive dead players, while the Breath of Vitality Elixir(teal) restores avatars that have been killed by someone feeding from them. These aren't players in the game. The current price for each elixirs is 250 Lindens, and you can purchase them at the Realm of Darkness land. To buy the Revival Elixir, right-click on the elixir and pay 250 Lindens. Once purchased, right-click to take it into your inventory. After that, attach it to your avatar. Click on the elixir in your hand, and a menu to open the bottle will appear. You'll be asked to confirm if you want to drink it. Select "yes" to be revived with full health.
Essence Chest

The Essence Chest serves as a secure repository for your essence. Upon your demise, your essence would otherwise be lost, making it advisable to store it within the chest to prevent any loss. With the Essence Chest, you have the capability to deposit and withdraw essence at will. Moreover, you retain control over who can access your stored essence, with options to limit access to yourself, a select group, or open it to everyone. Additionally, you can track all transactions made with your essence through the transaction history feature. This provides transparency regarding who has withdrawn essence from your Chest. Finally, you have the ability to customize the appearance of your Essence Chest by selecting from various texture colors, including Gold, Blue, and Black.
Overseer

The Overseer is a device designed to monitor another player or yourself. If the monitored player is attacked, you will receive a notification in nearby chat and on Discord (if you've added a webhook). Alerts are sent within 15 minutes of the occurrence, as the server checks for attacks every fifteen minutes on the hour. If an attack has occurred, you will receive the alert.
You can review the tracked player's attack logs for up to three days, view their death logs (including the number of deaths and the cause), and access their kill logs. Additionally, you can remotely feed a player who has been offline for at least four hours at a cost of 100 lindens per liter. This feature is useful if a player is unable to log in to feed themselves.
To use the Overseer, rez it out and touch it. You can add yourself to the Overseer, or if you're monitoring another player, have them touch it as well. Both players must be alive, although the tracked player can be resting. The hover text will change color from green to yellow or red, depending on the tracked player's health. The options for the Overseer are listed below: The options for the Overseer are listed below:

5. Turn Off Attack Alert
6. Turn Off Near Starvation Alert
7. Set Starvation Alert
8. Remove Player from Overseer
9. Add Discord Webhook
Note: The options won't be available if the tracked player is dead. The only available option will be to remove the player.
1. Donate Blood
To donate blood, the player must have been offline for at least 4 hours. You will need to accept the debit permissions that pop up, which allow the Overseer to credit your account. The cost is 50 lindens per 0.500 liters, and the blood donation menu will allow you to increment the amount of donated blood in 0.500-liter increments.
2. View Attack Logs
When viewing the attack logs, you can choose to see logs for today, yesterday, or the day before. Below is an example of a single attack log:
╔═⊱⋅•∙•⋅⋅•⋅⋅•⋅⊱⋅⋅•⋅⋅•∙⋅∘☽★☾∘⋅∙•⋅⋅•⋅⋅⊰⋅•⋅⋅•⋅⋅•⋅⋅∙•⊰

The logs, including the death and kill logs, work on a paging system. You can see four attacks per page, with up to four pages. Once all four pages are printed, you'll be asked if you want to view more attacks. If you click 'more,' four older pages will print out, each with four attacks, and so on. As the printout occurs, think of it as a book where the most recent attacks are on the highest page numbers. When you print out the logs, the most recent attacks will appear at the top of the Nearby chat.
3. View Kill Logs
Viewing the kill logs will show you all the times the player has killed someone else, including the timestamp, location, and total kills. Below is an example of a kill log:

╚═⊱⋅•∙•⋅⋅•⋅⋅•⋅⊱⋅⋅•⋅⋅•∙⋅∘☽★☾∘⋅∙•⋅⋅•⋅⋅⊰⋅•⋅⋅•⋅⋅•⋅⋅∙•⋅⊰
The paging system is the same as described in the "View Attack Logs" section.
5. Turn Off Attack Alert
When you turn off the attack alert, you will no longer receive nearby chat messages when the player is attacked. This also includes messages sent via the Discord webhook.
6. Turn Off Near Starvation Alert
When you turn off the near starvation alert, you will not receive a nearby chat message when the player is close to dying from lack of feeding.
7. Set Starvation Alert
When you select this option, you can choose to be alerted 1, 2, or 3 days before the player is expected to die from lack of feeding. For example, if you select 1 day, you will receive a notification in nearby chat and on Discord when the player is within one day of dying due to starvation. If you have it set to one day and you get the alert, the player will die at midnight.
8. Remove Player from Overseer
When you remove the player from the Overseer, you will no longer receive notifications about them, and you can add a new player.
9. Add Discord Webhook
This option will allow you to enter a Discord Webhook URL to receive alerts via Discord. When the player is attacked or near death, a message will be sent to your designated Discord channel.

- Check the designated Discord channel to see if the notification appears.
Trial of Shadows
Item: Trial of Shadows

Description: This ancient scroll allows you to challenge another player to a fight to the death! Do you have what it takes to accept the challenge?
How it Works

Consequences of Leaving:
- If a player leaves the region, logs out, or removes their HUD, they have 60 seconds to return.
